Over 20 years of domiciliary dental care

We believe that being homebound should not stop people from having a good smile, being able to enjoy their food. They should not suffer unnecessary pain as a result of toothache.

Our mission is simply to make that possible for you.
Our visiting dental team work with portable dental equipment which are taken directly to our patients.

This makes the dental visit very convenient with all treatments done in the comfort of your home.

Elderly and Home Restricted

At this stage of their lives, it becomes difficult for them to visit the dentist or maintain a good oral hygiene which is a vital part of overall health and wellbeing.

Different problems can go on in the mouth unnoticed.
Dentures can be worn out, preventing adequate chewing of food.
It is therefore important to have their mouths professionally examined and treated for oral problems like caries, gum disease and even screened for mouth cancer.

Our comprehensive range of services include:

Denture fabrication

We provide different types of dentures (full dentures, partial dentures, cobalt chrome dentures and flexible dentures.) We repair and reline dentures too.

Comprehensive check- ups with x-rays if needed

Check- ups are very important especially for the elderly. Problems can be identified and nipped in the bud and unnecessary discomfort and pain prevented. Our dentist will advise on how regular this should be done as each individual is different.

Scale & polish and gum treatment:

As we get older our ability to clean our mouth reduces. This can lead to neglect in some cases. Most elderly people will therefore need professional cleaning to augment their own efforts

Fillings

With our portable delivery system, we are able to provide aesthetically pleasing fillings for both anterior and posterior teeth. We do not use dental amalgams. We are very conservative in our approach when treating the elderly

Crowns and bridges

Our crowns are made of high-quality porcelain which will match the shade of your teeth. Other materials like gold can also be used if you so desire.

Teeth extraction

Most extractions can be done safely on site. However, if your medical history requires that you have it done in a hospital, you will be promptly referred.

Emergency call out

We also provide Dental In-service training

How it Works

Arranging a Visit

Whether it’s for you or you are arranging a visit for someone, simply call our receptionist who will be very happy to help you. Alternatively, you can send us an enquiry by email info@mobile-dentist.co.uk and someone will get back to you.

On receiving your call or email, you will be registered and some risk assessment carried out:

  1. A medical history form will be sent to you to complete and return. This is very important so that you can be treated safely.
  2. We would require your location address, parking facilities, information on who will be present, gaining access information
  3. The payment for your examination and visit fee will be required prior to the dental team visiting you. Payment options will be communicated with you. (Please check our terms and conditions for cancellation.)
  1. A suitable appointment will be arranged for the dental team to visit you
  2. In an emergency, we will try to visit you as soon as we can.
